Chris and I had such a lovely time at Parkesdale Farm Market! This charming spot in Plant City is a must-visit, especially if you enjoy fresh, locally grown produce and a welcoming, down-to-earth vibe.
Family-owned since 1968, Parkesdale Farm Market offers top-quality, Florida-grown fruits and treats. Even U.S. Presidents like George Bush Sr. and George Bush Jr. have given their stamp of approval (according to their website).
One of the highlights for me was their strawberry milkshake and strawberry shortcake- which was hands down one of the best I've ever had. I also picked up a container of fresh strawberries which I had the next morning with some Greek yogurt, they were so sweet and juicy! It’s clear this place takes pride in the quality of what they grow and sell.
In addition to the produce, there’s a plant nursery in the back, which was a nice surprise. It’s perfect for anyone looking to bring a little greenery home.
Whether you're a solo traveler looking for a peaceful break or visiting with family, Parkesdale offers a relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. There's also plenty of free parking, making it a hassle-free stop.
